Today...
I had the best afternoon of the year today. It had a lot to do with the weather....the nostalsic feeling of summer coming.
It started with the best chicken/salad sandwich at TAFE. I eat the food there every day [mon-wed] for lunch because its only $5 or under for a sandwich/toasted focaccia. For some reason it was really really good as usually im quite sick of eating there....
Then i got out of TAFE early at 2.30pm and because it was so hot decided to do my laps during the day @ lane cove instead of at night. So i cruised home, got changed grabbed my boardies and goggles and head to the pools.
IT WAS SO REFRESHING AND SUNNY AND PLAIN AWESOME. I hadnt used the outdoor pool this season yet and it was so nice to be swimming with the sun on your back and being reflected all through the water. Then i got to just day dream and get dry on the grass.....so relaxing...beautiful blue skies....trees.....water....all so nice. I hadnt had such a chilled out day for a while.
Then i got home, had an afternoon nap, called a friend and had dinner at Govinda's in the cross again. I went there about a month ago with another friend and realised i needed to make it a common outing. The food there just makes you feel better, i cant explain it.
So yes, i dont think the day could of gotten any better......
Other interesting things which have happened to me lately;
* had my first blood test i can remember, decided to get an STD check because starting to sleep with a partner unprotected.
* last week, my nose kept on hurting so much inside, so i presumed it was a pimple in my nose. It got worse and worse and then i got this big ass pimple on the side of my nose. I tried to pop it to no avail and it just got worse and worse. So i then pulled of the scab and a THINK BLACK HAIR was under it. WTF ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
My only explanation was that i had an INGROWN hair INSIDE my nose ..which then penetrated my skin and came out the other side of my NOSE ? ? ?how ...and why ..i dont know...it was amazing nevertheless. My body never ceases to amaze me sometimes.
TAFE doesnt seem TOO bad just now. Just have to grind threw thousands of questions for upcoming exams..... o_O.
Also got a side job from my uncle. He recommended me to his friend to setup about 6 computers and all these other things for one of his work college who lives on the north shore. Should be interesting i will do a complete job with documentation and everything should earn a little bit of cash on the side which is good.
The other exiting news is I just bought a BMX on ebay. The other night, Eugene and I were talking about how good it would be to have a bike especially for summer. So i then went to the computer and searched ebay. I found TWO different mongoose BMX's (one red and one yellow) being sold that NIGHT. So random. We got all excited and bid for them that night and won! It was so stressful lol, we did the auto bid thing with one minute to go!!!
We got one for $128 and other for $168. I decided to take the yellow one so Eugene will have a red one. Will have to organise the pickup and payment of them this week. They are both in the outer west o_O! But still so mad....SUMMER, SUN, BMX .....nothing better.
