dont fight it .......
Tonight i am starting a repot on Wireless Networking Standards. We got to choose a few topics to write a report on and this one seemed interesting and i dont think anyone else chose it. Most ppls are doing their reports onf USB, Firewire or Intel CPU's.
Wireless is interesting because its becoming more and more prevalent in the home and also in the workplace. Its a medium which will only grow and grow....
Last night i watched 'The International' with clive owen. Its basically about Banks and the international arms trade. I always love movies with these kind of themes, Lord of War, comes to mind as one of the great movies in this genre. I like them because they are so surreal ...that they are actually real. Like Banks, companies, countries, people are involved in these areas ...doing hell nasty stuff, killing kids, selling guns to rebel leaders, creating debt and the CIA, Hezbollah, mossad, lockheed & martin are all involved. Everyone is dirty in it, its mayhem and the theme makes for good movies.
Anyway, the reason for bringing that movie up is because i watched it on the big tv, through streaming the .iso DVD image (download from the net) from my pc to the PS3....wirelessly, without a hiccup. Simple, easy and just plain awesome.
Which gets me into spectrums......electromagnetic spectrums.... so we see light....or to what we call it 'visible light' which is a fraction of the full electromagnetic spectrum.
Sitting on the couch watching the movie.....if our eyes or something could see a different frequency...i would be able to see the data moving from my PC ...to the PS3.....it would be alot of data too....it would be nuts.....if we could see most frequencies...it would be FREAKY because we dont notice how much data is flying left right and everyone near us....mobile phones, wireless networks, AM/FM radio...it would be absolutely gnarly to be able to see all this information just travelling..bouncing off things....going this way and that......
so 100-200 years.....ago ..they didnt have ANY of this wireless data cruising about......which means our bodies have only been absorbing these waves for the last 100 years ago. I wonder what effect this has on our bodies? is this why we suffer from more cancers etc? i know in the laws of radiation some types of waves do nothing to us....alpha/beta rays etc. But even if they did nothing.....if you continuously absorbing them for your entire life.....do you sleep near your mobile? do you have a wireless networking at your place? ever listened to the radio?.....if must do something......it must.
They had a brain surgeon on enough rope sometime last year who said that cancers in the brain are more and more common and that he said there is no doubt it was from the uptake of mobile phones.....its just they have not been around long enough for us to know......who knows....
haha which ironically get me to my next point, headaches.
Ive had a few this week....not long or anything but definitely just some kind of stress related ones....had them last week too.
I think i just put a bit of pressure on myself to go well at tafe. Taking it seriously and what not. But i believe i have too, i dont want to get distracted again. I only have a month more of it. And i will get a day off soon because of the Queen's bday...yay ! Burn out i guess they call it. Thats why i got a little sick too. Normal stuff. Its actually good to get a little bit stressed....for things like this....it shows you what you can put up with and what you cant. Its the same kind of headaches from emotional stress too....so its easy to pinpoint it to stress and other things in my head.
I find it interesting when these headaches happen to me, because im quite a chilled out person so when i get them, i know something is up.
I've been taking TAFE seriously because its something which i enjoy and i actually have to be anally retentive with homework etc because i just dont have time to fret much, like im doing now lol. But yeah, keeping myself distracted by myself is a good thing for me. For too long ive been distracted.......i only blame myself for it....ive let myself been distracted, mainly by women. I feel i have wasted.....wasted it not the right word because it definitely has negative connotations to it...and i dont mean it with this negativity.....but i have focused on other people then myself.
I guess its naivety to an extent. I still dont believe i fit in this society ...like sydney....i feel its the righ ttime to be here doing what i am doing, but its not where i want to live....something is out there and im definitely not meant to be here for that long. 2years MAX i would say...including some type of computer networking experience. Thats not including an OS trip next year. But yeah ....i do feel at home here, especially in my bed. Its a refuge. I never felt so relieved to hop in it at the end of a night. I get excited, about it being my bed. No-one else in it..just me...selfishly....i dont like other people sleeping in it. Its totally mental i share it usually once a week.....but thats enough...no more. Its my zone.
Ive also become alot more introverted. As i dont get much time to myself, be it sport/tafe/work, any time i do have i enjoy, i relish in it. I never use to do that. Maybe because i was had some distraction going on....but i seem to need joel time more and more...i know as soon as my schedule eases up i wont and i will be more social etc.....but now i enjoy it just being me.
Girls.
I cant even imagine having a proper relationship with someone. It feels strange, i dont want someone in mylife now. Im content with what i have now and with myself. Singledom. I dont want to think about someone else or share my things. Its definitely because i have dont this a few times and too openly i think. I set myself up to be hurt and i did get hurt. Its how you learn though and only through experience have i learnt this. Im so stubborn sometimes and do not listen to anyone....which is just how i am and how i learn.
To angela.
Im not too sure what she is upto at all. I still look at photos of her and have some very fond memories and some which arent. I hope she is well. Its her birthday on the 31st so i will send her a short email. It will be the only the 2nd communication i will of sent in nearly a year now. I think that shows my stubbornness, what ive learnt from our relationship and what i thought of our relationship. I wish her all the best. But i still have anger in me from it. Im not sure when that will wither away...i know it will in time......will just have to be patient.
Its been a good reality hit for me. Angela, the relationship, moving out, being with other people, finding what i want to do and actually doing it (tafe), working hard, not having days off....its all been good for me. Grounding haha if thats the word. I like it. I like working hard, i like studying, i like being busy. I feel like i am actually doing the right thing whilst here in sydney, making the most of my time...sometimes i feel like i have 3 years to make up....
this is where i am meant to be for the time being.
i know something else is out there. I have lost a bit of my innocence....i still am overly optimistic with life. i think i will always be. But not entirely blinded now....i know its only through hard work and sweat i will get there.....where there is....i dont know. but its somewhere and you can bet my bottom dollar i will get it. My stubbornness can be also be positive.
:)
