Sao Paulo
Hello,
In Sao Paulo now.
On tuesday we were going to send angela´s visa application but then we found out that the bloody postal service in brazil is on strike!
kinda of annoying, so i scoured the internet and ran around Rio trying to find a way to send it there. Fedex only do international (i could send to argentina and then back, but this would take about 1 week anyway)!
So in the end, i decided we should just fly to Brasilia and personally hand them the visa application. Angela had never been to Brasilia either so I thought why not. I then looked on the net and found Varig were doing AUD30 flights from Rio to Brasilia which was bloody wicked. So we went to the airport bought tickets and jumped on a plane.
Brasilia is a funny place. Its basically like Canberra. Created only for political reasons. Its very spread out but had some nice museums and stuff. It was kind of cool seeing all the embassies on the street and also visiting the Australian Embassy was pretty cool.
Anyways, i asked the return flight to be visa Sao Paulo because i havent been here too. So thats the story. We are going to say here till sunday then go to Angela´s aunties place 1hr away from here and fly back to Rio on Monday.
Im still trying to change my Australian flight from the 29th of April to sooner, but it seems that there are no bloody empty seats which is annoying!!! See how we go...
