Hmmm hello,
Well i should post something as the weekend was pretty good. On friday we had Zoe's up in newtown and it was just good to go to newtown as when i was overseas i was kind of missing it a lil. All the nice food shops, some cool pubs and just good memories in general.
So i arrived to zoe's not too late, as i stopped over at oporto's on the way for a quick dinner. This was the first time i had had oporoto's in such along time and i didnt think about it much before i went travelling. But whilst travelling i really did miss it, i think alot had to do with how seb was very obsessed of it and made me even want it more. So yes, i had oporto's and damn it was fine, i even had the medium sized meal when usually i just get the small lil' one (always make it bondi without cheese though:).
So Zoe's was pretty cool, at this place i had never been there and hadnt even noticed it before. It had like a private room upstairs which was cool, cept the beer on tap and drinks in general were quite pricey, but thats what you have to pay to drink in style (it was very well furnished, and toby summed it up nicely by saying its very Melbourney). After a few drinks there we headed to the towny, which seemed to me to be a lil too security concious, but that what u get for like a plcae which gets pretty roudy at the end of the night. I also got to satisfy my pokie fetish for the first time in ages too, unfortunately the pokie machine didnt miss me very much and i lost 20bucks. Happily Hadas won like 30bucks so it evened out in the end....
On Saturday, hmmm i cant remember that i did too much, oh thats right i slept in till like the latest i had since being back, like 11ish. Then i just cleaned the house and chilled all afternoon. I finially spoke to some ppl and drove to st ives to pick up some ppl from old work and we drove to balmain for a girl called Tina from dickies. The place, no joke was called the sackville, and it just sounded so funny that i thought it was a joke, but no it exists and it seemed to be one of those pubs which tries not really to be a pub but a bar and is a lil too fancy for itself. Hmm when i type this is just occured to my lil mind that the part was for a former 'Dickies employee' and the sackville. LOL!!! Dickies - Sackville, am i the only perverted one here?
Well that night i left about midnightish cause i was driving and was actually quite tired from Zoe's. So i came home and went to bed relatively early. On sunday it was such a nice day weather wise, so i decided i had to do something active. It took quite a while to decide until i finially decided to go for a ride, then it occured to me it would be cool to go for a ride in the city and listen to music whilst doing it. So about 4pm i packed my bad with camera and other pieces and rode to the station, got off at milsons point and road across the bridge around sunset time, i got some nice snaps which ill post tomoz. Was a really awesome ride, listening to this new album 'Soul Position - Things go better with RJ and Al'. Its the kinda of hiphop i like, concious hiphop, not that dissin' shit and all about the ladies stuff. Proper stuff with a msg....with lyrics like 'rap now-a-days is done by a bunch of ignorant cats, no young gifted and black just guns bitches and crack'. Hmm lots of other awesome lyrics check it out.
Anways...if ur from sydney and you have never rode or walked across the habour bridge, your definately missing out. Each time i do it, its breathtaking and just uplifting in a really nice way. So yeah listening to my hiphop music and riding with my hoody was awesome, i felt like a real bmx'er. There was also this othe bmx dude riding across, he had one of the cool new bikes but anyway there was respect shown by both of us hehe..that prob dont make sense but anyway. Took some nice photos then rode to hadas's work and ate lots of food.
Whenever i visit hadas at night at work, i get hungry this type of hunger which really makes no sense. So i had a paddle pop (chocolate), then got indian naan and parantha, then i got cashewnut chicken and a magnum. I was so full halfway through the thai, so i didnt really do that justice, but oh well. Bonnie then came down to chill which was cool but i left relatively early cause i had work today and wanted to get a decent sleep!
So today, was my first day at work again. It was really cool, started at 8.30-6pm so pretty long day but was way cool. Just good to chill with the people form work again. They all cool, i sold quite a bit too for my first day back (2 lappies) so im happy about that too. Such a good atmosphere to work in. But the thing is, if they dont like you they get rid of u ....its pretty like do or die. I think they like me so im alright but if they didnt id be fired within a few weeks. So it possibly can still happen!
This afternoon too, Matt and Hadas came to visit me cause matt needs a new tv and hadas wants to get a stereo for omer too. They ended up buying cds like everyone does and hopefully come back this week for tv and stereo. Its awesome being able to get friends things at cost price!!!
Well tonight i just watched 'A very long engagement '. Really good movie, kinda like a love torn story during the war, but its not chessy it has heart and feeling. Not like so many movies these days check it out. Its weird waking up for work when its dark and gettin home when it is too.
This morning i got up about 6.30am, did stretches in the front room and it was like a lil' light. Then whilst stretching it got lighter and lighter, and the sun was coming up and making the clouds all pink and stuff was pretty sweet!
Well thats about it, i should go to bed now have a good one. Tomorrow off, but gotta get everything in shape cause parents come home wednesday like real early. Gotta wash the dog all her blankets and vacuum to the max!!!! funs....maybe play bball with cam too that be cool!
