Good evening
Hello,
Well havent posted for a while, but its been a pretty cool week. Back at work this week, working mon, friday and tomorrow (sunday). Its good to be back at work as the people there are so much fun to be around.
Thursday night after training (for work), we went to the chelsea for a few which was good fun. Had the schnitzel there, and have to say its bloody good every single time! Then we played some pool and played around with the Foosball table. It was this promotional table from Corona and was so funny. Your not meant to play it, as you can win it by buying coronas and getting a scratchie. But me and the others decided to have a go and used a pool table ball as the soccer ball, it worked like a charm. The best thing about the table is, that instead of having little soccer people as the players, one team are Corona Bottles and the other are Limes LOL. Its so funny to see, ill attach a photo of it tomorrow. I of corse were the limes :P. Anyway besides that being cool, it also has this sophisticated beer holder on it which is so well placed and perfect.
On friday night i called up cam and we went and saw the movie hard candy. I had read alot of reviews and stuff about it, and was looking forward too it. So i rode to milsons and over the bridge again and then to cams, whos now living in chippendale on abercrombie st. The movie was good, but like seeing a movie with cam, well he knows movies well and whenever i talk to him after it he always tells me things i didnt pick up on or realise. Anyways, there were some quite intense scenes in it, but i did feel a lil' cheated by what happens and its all too much of a 'movie' ending...if that makes sense. Its worth a watch, but u might aswell wait for it on dvd and hire it.
Today, Well i did the Warimoo walking track. It was quite long took a few hours and i did get a lil lost lol. It was fun though. I decided i needed to do something outdoors as today was probaly the nicest day since i have been back. Beautiful blue skies and quite warm too, so i looked up the track on the net and decided to do it. Im thinking if its beautiful next weekend too, ill try another walking track too. This track runs along a river, im not quite sure of the name but it starts at the end of warrimoo rd and goes all the way to bobbin head national park (apple tree bay). It was about 5km, but then i had to walk up to the start of bobbin head for my parents to pick me up. I kind of underestimated the walk from the park up to the entrance to the it (it was 4km) and so whilst about 2/3's of the way, a guy saw me in his car, who said he had seen me on his drive down and offered me a lift. So i got in and he was a cool guy and dropped me off at the top where i could ring to get picked up.
After the trek, i got home had a shower then had a sweet nap till about 7.30ish. I got up and my parents went out and i was meant to go with Adam & Mahsa's to a friend of hers bday party (leane), but when i rang them they said they werent going so i was like, thats not bad i might have a nice night home by myself. So i watched the bledisloe cup on tv (australia lost), and then watched my 'Year of the Yao' dvd, which i got from hada's on friday night. Its this cool movie about yao ming, the first chinese player to come to the nba ever. It was really interesting and even though the movie was a lil chessy it was very enjoyable. As it had lots of footage about yao after/before games and you could see how much pressure was on the poor chap (he was basically carrying the entire chinese nation on his shoulders). But he withstood the pressure and played better then anyone expected, after a pretty bad start. Anyways i was just about to finnish it and the parents came home with the sandercocks (family friends) and they wanted to watch the rugby which was recorded.
Unfortunately for some reason the foxtel IQ thing, didnt actually record the game (it looked like it was) so they were very dissapointed (my dad was angry lol) and so they are watching the cricket now. Ill hopefully finnish the year of yao tomorrow, i think theres only 10mins to go or so. Well im going to finnish m.of a geisha hopefully now before i hop into bed, and i have to say im quite afraid and dont want the book to finnish. Im enjoying it way too much and i always get sad when im near the end of a book i like, i guess ill just have to move on.
Well me be off, ill attatch some more entertaining pictures soon.
