The tourist
Hello,
Well today i spent the majority of the day by myself roaming around london's west end like a tourist. In london u basically catch a train everywhere (The Underground/Tube) and u come out of a station and there in front of u is one of the most recognisable and pictured buildings/place you have seen on TV or in some movie. Today i saw the House of Parliements which the big ben is attatched too (The house of parliements in that big building in V for Vendetta which gets blown up, sorry for the spoiler), i also went to buckingham palace (where the queen lives) walked through Hyde park (took me like 45mins its FLIPPIN' HUGE) and also saw Kensington palace. All these places i took lots of photos like the other tourists and enjoyed my time thoroughly.
geezes this dialup connection keeps dropping out and i have redial...like the 4th time!! dialup flippin' sux!!!
Anyways tomorrow i cant wait for ...as if i get up early enough im going to see the Changing of the guard at buckingham palace (some big horse and guard thing) which happens daily and at the night meet up with some old uni friends Anika and Amy who are both living / working here. I cant wait to see them as i havent seen them for like 6months or a year and also its good to be around people my age who i know pretty well!!
Not the most reflective post..but im not really in a reflective mood so cant write anything. Me offs to bed and have a good day.
ps. i would attatch photos but this net is way to slow...and hopefully if i go somewhere with broadband ill write a group email soon from london!!
