*cough
So i sit here typing this after just having a shower and going for a run. I pretty damn exhausted, not from the run but the last few days just gone past fast. I guess its because so much new information is getting fed into my brain. Its a really good feeling, it makes me feel like my brain is on a natural high saying oooooo this is new, i must learn this, ooo and this ill remember that. I remember seb saying about how its healthy and good for your brain to be put in a new environment and have to learn. This is why i like meeting new people and doing things i dont usually do. Its basically a workout for your brain. Sure there are also many other ways to give the brain some exercise, but i believe this is probaly one of my favourite ways.
Hows work going? Well today was hectic as 2 people from the area i worked in call in sick and it was just me and a girl called katherine. But she basically is meant to be in the kodak print lab thing most of the time so its basically just me on the floor. I didnt have time to have a lunch break today as too many customer and stuff. But i actually really enjoyed it. I met so many interesting people the last few days..just customers...and it seems because i wear just normal clothes and dont have to address people on like a corporate level i can relate to them more, be natural with them and actually talk to them like im meeting them on the street. The only difference is that i can actually give them usual information........in this situation its product knowledge. So yes..i do sell items to people, but i think the main generalisation towards sales people is that they are pushy and lie heaps. To me, i dont do that, and no thats not a lie. If you lie to customers its basically a short-term gain for long-term pain. Be truthful and respect people and they will do the same to you, you can use that in any area of your life. Be it in work or play. We are all one anyyway arent we?
So yeah who did i meet, well the other day this lady came in and i got chattin' to her and she was a contortionist, no joke. I was so amazed...she was from australia but working over in las vegas in a circus. It was so cool haha never met a contortionist!!! And today i had this really cool dude who was a photographer who bought a nice canon 350D with 2 lens's. He was heading up to alicesprings for the summer taking shots and then sells them to magazines or books who want photos about outback wildlife and stuff. He was such a nice guy, i got to know him quite well and told him he should bring back some shots when he's finished up there and show me, he promised he would and i do believe him. So sometime next year if im still there he hopefully will come back with some cool shots which is heaps cool.
Bored yet? i dont really care, i like writting this stuff. Other then that i probaly do alot more actual work at JB's, work longer and stuff then Dicksmith's but you seem just to be happy to do it. Basically everyone stays back a bit (staff) after work and chat, everyone always says goodbye to you when they leave and its just a good atmosphere. Atm im enjoying alot more then sitting in an office using the phone heaps and looking at a computer, why do that for work when i can do that at home? ehhe that dont make sense but not everything has too.
The other night thursday it was, after working late for late night shoppin' i caught a train to the city and after much confusion met up with steve/roo/sasha and headed to hadas's brothers bands gig @ vic on the park. Steve and sasha had just finished uni FOR EVER eheh and they were so happy!!! i could help but feel happy too from their energy.
Seeing the band was just so funny. I couldnt stop laughing cause i was so suprised at the upbeat / happy vibe coming from the band. It was like a 80's sound mixed with chilipeppers and just plain fun. I def go to another gig of theirs and hopefully get there early so can see an entire set ahah makes me smile just thinking about the gig!
Well anyways after we went to hadas's cousins house in elwood and played a bit of soccer out the back which was fun. Then left and got a lift to lindfield station with nina.
Now i hadnt spoken to nina for a long time, besides like normal stuff, but i just had a really good conversation about relationships with her whilst heading home. It was just refreshing to talk to her and get her idea of what relationships are about etc. Really like to speak to her again as she has interesting points of view on stuff. One thing that i found extremely interesting was her point on relationships when it comes to values and also dependence. Now im not trying to describe my relationship with rose or anything but i did believe what she said was true. She talked about her own experience about being dependent on someone and how she believes that if you are then its basically for her an indication that the relationship is not going too well. This is certainly one area of the relationship between rose and i which i was not good at, good at all. I think it was probaly one of the reasons why we broke up or it contributed to that. I was dependent, i think i was basically the problem...im not just saying that i think i seriously was. I was way too dependent on rose, which put pressure on her and made her feel bad or wrong about behaving her own normal way. Its interesting.......i think maybe im coming to come kinda of understanding...but theres still something in there which i havent made sense of.
Something to do with the difference between dependence and wanting to experience stuff / do certain stuff. I think that will come to me soon but not atm.
The other interesting thing she said was about values. She thought that having the same values were important too. I think this is one area where rose and i differed. I know it sounds like im trying to describe our relationship in some logical way and that you cant do that, but it just makes sense to me and its my blog you dont have to read it. I guess having the same values basically is the core of people. To some extend i do believe that having the same values with someone would make the relationship easier...well easier is not the right word.....more compatiable...thats wrong too but something along those lines. But on the other side, the relationship would maybe become boring.......i dont know would it? In my head basically your actions or behaviour stem from inner beliefs/values that you have, hence havin the same values gives a bond to the people in a relationship and similarities. Now this is not necessary a good thing, difference is also a good thing. I think its healthy for a relationship, it makes you do new things, accept difference, understand others and so on. It basically gives you more challenges and this is good for the mind.
I feel stupid saying all this, because i think it basically sounds like im trying to put a relationship into words and logic, which is the one thing which i did not use whilst i was in one (logic). Sometimes i think that having the same values is what friends have. Should relationships have the same...it doesnt really matter i guess...theres no right or wrong...you shouldnt or should.

im tired and hungry ill post later.
