Anyways, i just watch Ghost in the Shell . Was a pretty damn good anime, makes me really wanna see part two!
I think tomorrow i will watch Ninja Scroll. My brother is really into anime, and i have to say from the very little i have seen i do like it too. Im more concerned with the scifi side of anime, which is why i enjoyed Ghost in the Shell. I really like how they use adult themes in it. In the west, cartoons (what there referred to here) do not usually contain many adult themes. I can understand the love the japanese have with anime. Its like they can do anything, have the most complex stories, intertwining twists and angles and also their characters can only be limited by the imagination. Alot better then having to cast an actual person to 'act' the part. I guess thats why anime is so ground-breaking and that so many western movies 'borrow' scenes and ideas from it.
I like japan. Never been there, but definately want to go there. I guess i have this wierd love for asian countries. It stems from the idea that they blend technology and culture so well. Asian countries have so much culture and ancient history, but they also are at the leaders in technology. They have remote country side, sprawling mountains and rivers and also the highest and most dense cities. I guess you get the best of both worlds. 24hr partying and if you want peace and quiet you go to the country for 24hour meditation and relaxation. I want to go to japan. Steve was talking about how he heard some ski resort over there payed you, gave you accomadation and food, so you work over there. Dang that sounds good. Also, though i havent met many japanese people they seem freindly too. I should really look up this on the net, working in japan. I know sareh worked over there, she did english teaching. I cant say i would be the best at that, because im pretty farkn bad with english. Like i can hardly spell (rely on computer too much) and was never the best writer, but maybe i could work over there in some other area. Even selling tickets on a snow lift at some western resort would be ok. I could still get to see the country side and the real japan and just have to put up with westerners during business hours. Ill look into it.
Shite i should really go to bed soon, need to get into routine of getting up at a decent hour. Had an afternoon snooze which was awesome. Had many many wierd dreams though ehhe. Anyways ill bbl, have a good night.
